WHAT GOD HAS DONE THAT WE MAY BE HIS

God himself came into this world for us in the person of His Son,
Jesus Christ. Jesus, the eternal Son of God entered human history (about 2000 years ago) and became man in addition to being God. Jesus lived a holy life for us. He kept the law of God for us--and so gained for us complete righteousness in the sight of God. Jesus suffered and died for us. On the cross he took all our sins upon himself -- and suffered everything we should have suffered because of them through all eternity. In this way he paid the penalty for our sins. Jesus rose from the dead for us. His resurrection proves the truth of his teachings. It shows that he completed the work of redemption. It has made possible a new life for us, one that will go on forever.

Because of what Jesus has done for us, we can be sure of forgiveness and eternal life.
We are called to serve with the power of God and to love with the love of God. This cannot happen without the supernatural. This will happen as we wait for our thoughts, plans and actions to be 'conceived by the Holy Spirit'. What an adventure awaits us, forgiven sinners saved by grace!
